Thirteen original works from the CD25A-UC collections returned on 19 June from San Sebastián (Spain) to Coimbra, where they had been part of the exhibition “La ciudad en disputa | The city in dispute” at the Euskadi Institute of Architecture, which ran from 17 March to 14 June 2026.

The exhibition revisits the history of social housing in southern Europe, highlighting initiatives that emerged during periods of crisis and which involved strong community participation in the development of their neighbourhoods. Through examples from Italy, Spain and the Portuguese SAAL initiative, it shows how architecture and social movements have intersected in the transformation of cities.
The documents on display are now returning from San Sebastián to Coimbra, fostering a dialogue between different urban experiences.
