On the important milestone of the 50th anniversary of 25 April 1974, an anniversary with special significance for those who value living in freedom and democracy since that date, the University of Coimbra, through the Centre for Higher Studies of the University of Coimbra in Alcobaça, the 25 April Documentation Centre of the University of Coimbra and the General Library of the University of Coimbra, will be holding an exhibition, starting on 13 April, depicting the historical events that led to the Carnation Revolution, as well as its impact on Portuguese society over the last five decades.
