On 10 and 11 October, the 25 de Abril Documentation Centre will have the pleasure of hosting, as a partner institution, and as part of the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of 25 April, the International Congress The Press of Exile(s), the first edition to be held in Coimbra.
The initiative is organised by the International Group for the Study of the Colonial Periodical Press of the Portuguese Empire (GIEIPC-IP) and also includes other partners:CHAM - NOVA University's Humanities Centre-FCSH, the Mário Soares and Maria Barroso Foundation, the Laboratoire d'Etudes Romanes (LER) of the University of Paris 8 Vincennes Saint-Denis, the National Library of Angola, the Social History Archive of the ICS - University of Lisbon, and the ECOS group - Exiles, counteracting the silence of CRIA - Research Network Centre in Anthropology. Matheus Serva Pereira and Inês Ponte are on the organising committee.
