Fifty years ago, between 26 March and 16 April 1975, the French philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre visited Portugal. Among the contacts and visits he made, the one he made to RAL 1 was widely reported in the national and foreign press.

In the D.N.|D.L. photographic archive, housed by the Centre, there is a document that records this event, which took place on 4 April 1975.
